I worry about a tidal wave of young people within the next decade who will be facing detransition. I hope we have solid medical care and knowledgeable mental health clinicians in place by then if that's the case (and not the same people who supported transition without evidence of benefit). The current situation in the US, where clinicians refuse to talk about detransition or dismiss it as rare and "just part of the gender journey," is a disgrace.
